Time is a Crooked Bow

Tonight I made Lebanese green bean stew. Sort of my way of pouring out a 40 for my Grandma Betty, who died yesterday. I rarely use my land line and didn’t realize right away that I’d received voicemail from my estranged mother. I didn’t hear the messages about my grandmother’s failing health until after she’d already died. The funeral is on Tuesday.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Hope you’re feeling okay and I’ll be thinking of you on Tuesday. Funerals are difficult enough without adding family disfunction to the mix…

    Beautiful photo btw.

I bet my sister would love your green bean stew - I’ll have to send her the link . . .

I can’t believe that it was only yesterday when we were sitting playing Apples to Apples. It feels like days and a million miles away. It’s only really about 2400 miles.

So sorry for your loss. That sucks to have heard the messages too late.
Green bean stew sounds like a much healthier way of drowning your sorrows.
