Thank the gods for the Regional Vegetarian Guide. Without it I wouldn’t have heard the news. I’d been mourning the demise of Tanpopo Noodle Shop, after driving down Selby recently to discover it had vanished, with the restaurant next door having mysteriously taken over both spaces. But it turns out Tanpopo has just moved to a different location. And one that’s still conveniently close to home. Instead of St. Paul’s Cathedral Hill neighborhood, they are now in St. Paul’s Warehouse District. So if you’d like some reasonably-priced and authentic home-style Japanese food, head on down to 308 Prince Street (at the intersection of 4th & Broadway near the Farmer’s Market in Lowertown).
