The International Photographic Scavenger Hunt

Tracey has great ideas for good clean fun. A couple of months ago I took part in her May Day Project. The idea was to take one photo once every hour, to document a single day in the life. This time around she suggested a scavenger hunt…giving participants the entire month of July to snap off photos of 26 things. Oddly enough, I didn’t procrastinate. The photos in my gallery were spread out fairly evenly throughout the month. A few themes I wanted to re-shoot (ran out of time), but overall I’m pleased with the end results. And I slapped the code together ahead of the game, so I’d be able to post my URL on August 1st. But it’s August 1st a little earlier in some places. At 10pm last night (my time) there were already 100+ submissions up. Looks like I wasn’t the only one who came prepared. I love looking at this project through other people’s eyes. And, I have to admit…I’m a little partial to those who live in places I haven’t yet visited (Japan, Sweden, Singapore, the Netherlands, Australia, France) though they are all delightful. Check ‘em out. After looking at mine, of course. Heh.
