All right, I’ll admit it. This morning I read Heather’s post about her photoshop habit. So I immediately began experimenting with it…on the photos I posted yesterday. I’d nearly forgotten Photoshop’s virtues. At work we almost exclusively use Fireworks. And even then, I’m mostly using it to slice up web graphics. Here at home I have an ancient version of Photoshop 5. But even that can make my photos purtier apparently. And in just six easy steps. The original batch I’d posted (which I’d lazily resized, but not color-corrected) seemed washed out. These modifications make them seem richer, even lush by comparison. Hats off to Heather and her “lovely glow effect”. And don’t worry…I’ll try to not overuse it.
