I'm a fan of your blog but have never commented. I'm glad you posted those resources. I'm like you in that I have never fathomed throwing in the towel despite tough times. Weirdly enough though, I've lived in two separate apartments,TWO, where the guy upstairs from me killed himself. The first guy slit his wrists and the second one hung himself. And in both circumstances, ther family and the police had to find them. The first time, it was his brother and he was really calm for some reason. The second time, that family screamed and screamed and screamed a s screamed. I will beer forget that sound. I feel horrible for people who feel like they have nothing left to lose definitely. BUT, it also pisses me the hell off. SO selfish. An I read an article about people who commit suicide by train which is kind of like this since he did it in public. It make me so angry bc and I wish I still has the article for a statistic or fact but it's generally understood that if you are a conductor, you WILL experience this one if not five times in your career.
