Ha! That's funny. I've actually never seen any CSI (or Law & Order), but only because I didn't have TV reception before all the shows wound up on the web. Now that I could see them online I'm not - because I am unable to dive into a show in the middle. I'm a completist when it comes to TV series. Probably for the best that Dead Like Me only had two seasons. I'm trying to savor the episodes now instead of rushing through them.

There was an episode of CSI:NY that incorporated a berry like that. The murder victim ate it then was given poison, which tasted like candy as a result of the berry.

I was gonna say - who doesn't like a little sour now and again? That's why humans enjoy sweet and sour, or hot and sour soup or lemonade, etc. Silliness.
