In fact, we got him because his prior owners couldn't take his destruction after a month. I wish I had some better advice but he will outgrow it. Getting him fixed will help too. My cat was a total terror but now he is the sweetest, most even-tempered and social cat I have ever known. Maybe it is an adolescent orange cat thing? Freddy sounds just my cat when he was little.
