Ah, I believe the character's name is Mr. Blik, from a teevee show we've never seen called Catscratch. The little man received this toy as a treat from one of his teachers. It is totally cute. And, you pull on his head, his eyes light up.

Zophia, you are a wise woman.

Emily, I am loving it so far, but definitely get the bigger version. The alledged "three cup" only produces one cup of coffee. Also, we, sadly, didn't make it out to the art car parade on the lake, but we never miss the one on land...in the summertime. And I think it's safe to say that art car people are a little loopy. Just the way I like 'em.

Let me know how the Bodum works out....I've been eyeing it for a while now. I'm currently still sporting my 4-cup Krups drip maker, which I've had forever.

Art cars! There was an art car that used to be permanently stationed by my old apartment. Hundreds of doll heads, all over. I don't know if it was "art" as much as it was "mental illness"....the guy that owned it was totally Whack. :)
