Val, thanks! Yeah, we just have to slog it out a little longer until spring. It's just that we'd gotten spoiled here. Winter didn't really start until a few weeks ago.

Nick, we should have a sheese party!

Em, no doubt. I hope you feel better soon too.

Eve, I just finished Vol. 2 too. Loved it! And I'm curious to see what Whedon's run turns out to be like. Fingers crossed.

Runaways Vol. 1 was awesome! The whole series is amazing and while I LOVE Joss Whedon, I can't imagine how he can top what Vaughan did (though, I don't think Whedon is doing a long run on it, maybe only 6 issues).

Ha! We are really tearing up the internet with our fun tales of being cold, broke, stuck in traffic, creatively depleted, etc. At least we're in it together.

And I have a cold now, too. So I'm using guerrilla tactics to take care of myself and leaving work early. Take that, work!

Sorry to hear that you're both under the weather, but I'm glad to see you posting. I was beginning to get concerned.

(Am also glad to hear that we in the Rockies aren't the only ones that have been suffering through the subzero temps. Today was pretty nice--40º, but for awhile there it was so cold that I was beginning to think we were going to have to measure temps in Kelvin.)

Spring is on the way. That may or may not be a comfort, but usually the sight of something green or blooming does wonders for me in the Fresh Start to Life department.

I've missed your photos and your words. I've never met you, but I consider you a friend. I hope that things start looking up for you soon and in Big Extravagant Fabulous Ways, because you deserve it.

Lots of good wishes from here. :-)
