weapons of massdistraction

As usual, it’s been all highs and lows mixed together, with me just trying to muddle through the day to day. But at least today has been a better day.

And I have something to look forward to. This coming weekend will be a whirlwind…hanging out with the lovely Iseult on Friday night and Saturday morning (she will be in town from Berkeley). Then I’m taking a little road trip:

• To see The Chambermaids at the Duluth Pizza Luce.
• To see some lovely friends, who are giving me the use of their guest room while I’m up there.
• And to experience the Pizza Luce brunch for the first time in years. They used to have it at the Warehouse District location every weekend. I cried when they discontinued it. I’ve been informed that the Duluth location has changed the brunch menu somewhat, but I may still be able to get my beloved dish with the tofu nipple (aka vegandaise).

Bonus: Sadly I won’t be able to make it out to Medicine Lake this year…for The Soap Factory’s Art Shanty Project. But if you can you should totally go. Do it for me.
