Oh, I definitely had those in Oklahoma and Louisiana growing up. I don't remember ever having chocolate milk--but then again I hated chocolate milk. Oh the memories.

fernwood 2nite was one of those things i fell in love with as a kid via my dad (ditto sctv), who has good taste in media. i turned b on to it & i think that tom waits clip is his fave as well, despite neither of us understanding the appeal of tom waits.

I got really excited when you linked to a photo of milk bags, but when I saw it was actually a bag of milk ... man, what a disappointment.

That should be "good ways." But "wasy" sounds like it wouldn't be bad either.

So sorry about Selina. I hope February rocks your socks off. In all good wasy.
I'm weirded out by the idea of milk in a bag, but like the idea of taking up less space in the rubbish bin when you're done.

Yes! I would love to see that. And it does make sense. But it'll probably be a while before they start selling soy or rice milk that way :-)

Here in Switzerland we get normal (ie, not chocolate) everyday milk in 1L bags - you plop it into a holding jug and snip off the two corners poking out and off you go! I thought it was very weird at first, but now since I've been appropriately swissified for the last 4.5 years I am coming around to it - less rubbish, and seeing as you have to pay CHF1.80 per bag of rubbish that is collected, it makes sense...

I'll have to take a photo to show and tell.
