we had tons of wild turkey in the yard when i was growing up. my old house in pittsburgh had a ground level large window in the kitchen and one day shortly after thanks giving my mom and i looked out the window and saw a giant wild turkey staring at us, then staring at the wish bone of his cousin, then back at us. it was so freaky. i totally thought he was going to attack. another time i was driving down the street in the same area, a turkey ran out into the road saw my car and sat down in the middle of the road and hid his head under his wing. i had to stop the car and get out to chase him off the street and stop cars from running him down. silly bird.
