Dude, don't blame me, blame my Dad. I love the guy, but being introduced to Fangoria magazine at the tender age of six or seven put me off horror films entirely. It was only Bruce Campbell's charisma that eased me into the Evil Dead movies, which led to Bio Zombie, Shaun of the Dead, etc.

First, I have a confession to make. I have somehow avoided the George Romero movies for years now. I generally can't do straight-up horror. It has to be horror with a twist - like comedy (like Hong Kong's Bio Zombie), or more of a science fiction angle. One of these days I should prolly just sit down and watch Night of the Living Dead...

And yeah, summer colds suck. But you got over yours EE, and I will hopefully be on the mend soon too. I adore everything about Bruce Campbell! If Chins Could Kill was a freaking fantastic read. You should totally check out Y: The Last Man. Love that series. The creator is actually working on a screenplay right now, and would like to see Topher Grace in the lead role. That makes me go "meh" but we'll see, I guess.

I know how you feel, sick, ack! The Evil Dead movies are awesome. I actually like Army of Darkness the best, then EDII, then EDI. Bruce Campbell is awesome. How is Y: The Last Man? I've been wanting to check that series out for a while now.
